Oneida County Supreme Court:
 
  • 7 figure jury verdict against county for failure to properly warn of intersection with restricted sight distances and erect reduced speed signs. Plaintiff suffered brain injuries. It was the largest personal injury award in Oneida County history at the time.
Genesee County Supreme Court:
 
  • Jury verdict against Town for negligently plowing snow at an intersection so as to impede sight distances. Infant plaintiff, a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in a collision at the intersection, suffered loss of vision in one eye. The award was the largest ever made in Genesee County at the time.
New York Court of Claims:
 
  • Award in favor of plaintiffs against New York Thruway Authority for improper drainage design and failure to warn of accumulation of water on roadway following trial in Court of Claims and appeal to Appellate Division.
