A number of reasons! (Click a reason for more detail)
All of our attorneys have had extensive trial experience. We also have tried many complex and difficult cases.
We have successfully tried and settled many multi-million dollar cases, achieving record verdicts on several occasions in Western and Central New York.
You can be assured of having qualified and experienced trial attorneys personally handle preparation and trial of your case, not paralegals and junior associates.
Many professional organizations accept members without regard to their experience or success, or only insist upon documentation that the candidate has practiced for a certain length of time. Others, such as The American College of Trial Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and Business First's "Who's Who in Law' only accept or list attorneys who have been rated at the very top of their profession by fellow attorneys and judges. In addition, officers in bar and trial lawyer associations are elected by their peers. We are very proud of the honors our firm members have received based upon this type of peer recognition (see “About Us” and "Attorneys" for further details).
We often assign two experienced trial attorneys to try a case together. This provides more flexibility and allows for better preparation and client communication. The members of our firm have been working together for many years and their ability to exchange ideas and strategies can strongly contribute to a favorable outcome for the client.
