R. Charles Miner is a senior partner in the firm and serves as managing partner. He has practiced with the firm in the areas of personal injury, construction accidents, automobile accidents, products liability and medical malpractice for over 30 years.
Born in Batavia, New York, Mr. Miner received his undergraduate degree from Canisius College in Buffalo and his Juris Doctor from the University of Buffalo Law School. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1976 and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, also in 1976. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, handling numerous serious felony matters from investigation through trial and appeal. As a Senior Assistant District Attorney, he served as a homicide prosecutor in numerous murder trials. He is also a retired Officer in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps.
Mr. Miner is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County, the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He has previously served as President of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, and on the Boards of Directors of that Association as well as the Bar Association of Erie County. He has been awarded an “av” rating from Martindale Hubbell. He is listed under personal injury law in the Business First/Buffalo Law Journal publication “Who’s Who in Law”. He has also been selected by his peers as a “New York Super Lawyer,” an honor bestowed on only five percent of the attorneys in upstate New York.
